In a recent report published by the Pew Internet & American Life Project which focused on online shopping, 81 percent of Internet users have researched product information online for a product which they were thinking of buying. Additionally, more than three quarters of Internet users agree that the idea of shopping online is convenient for them. In 2007, retail e-commerce sales grew at a rate of 19 percent which totaled $136.4 billion. The online e-commerce marketplace will continue to grow to an expected $240.2 billion by 2012. At Distinctive Designs we recognize the internet platform for the sales potential it holds for all of our customers. In the very near future Distinctive Designs will launch a new program specifically for our customers who wish to sell our products on their retail e-commerce websites. The Authorized Online Retailer program will provide its members with all the data and product information necessary to populate an existing e-commerce site with Distinctive Designs products. This program is currently in the final development stages and we expect to offer it to our existing customers within the month. We will notify all of our registered customers via email when the program becomes available.
