Floor plants and plant stands are especially useful in bare, limited spaces and unusable areas too narrow for other furnishings. Tall topiaries perennially flank exterior entrances or interior doorways, while shorter floor plants efficiently and subtley buffer traffic around seating. Low plants are perfect for hearths, porches, galleries and corridors. Like any greenery, life-like floor plants are completely versatile in any interior décor, although the type of plant employed may reinforce a particular decorating theme, e.g. cactus or other desert succulents.
