Ordering Information

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. All Opening Orders require payment in full in advance to avoid credit processing delays.

Do you offer credit terms?
Yes. Submit a credit application and five current industry trade references to set up credit terms for 30-day billing on account for subsequent orders. The minimum order on invoiced payment terms is $500. All unpaid invoices are subject to 1.5% interest per month (18% annum).

How do I order your products for export?
Orders for export may be placed through the Shopping Cart, email, or fax, but must be shipped to your U.S. based freight forwarder or consolidator. We cannot book export transportation to your foreign destination but can provide the most required export documentation. Once your order is confirmed, our Customer Service Team will provide a pro forma invoice including freight charges to your U.S. destination for payment in full by wire transfer before the order can be entered into production. Allow 3 weeks after payment for production and shipment to your U.S. shipping destination. Please Contact Us for assistance.

Is the cost of the container included in the price of your finished floral or greenery designs, plants, and trees?
Yes. The cost of the container and ground cover is included in the price of all designed floral products. You’ll receive the product fully arranged in the container ready for use with minimal or no “fluffing” required.

What if I need to cancel an item or order?
All cancellation requests must be received in writing by e-mail or fax before domestically-produced item(s) are entered into production. Once produced or in the production process, canceled orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee for Design Components or Décor Accessories not subject to domestic manufacture if the cancellation is received before shipment.

What if an item is out of stock or discontinued?
Back orders will ship as soon as possible and will be kept on order for 90 days unless you cancel in writing prior to the order being put into production. Customer Service can provide recommendations for items similar to discontinued or temporarily unavailable items.

Can DDI silk plants or floral designs go outdoors?
The fabric foliage used on most green plants, topiaries, and trees have urethane coatings that will sustain outdoor exposure for an extended period depending on the intensity of the climate to which the product is exposed. Undercover, out of direct sunlight, freezing temperatures, and lashing wind and rain is obviously preferable to avoid weathering and to prolong the appearance of the product.

Plastic plants like cedar and boxwood are considered more weather resistant, but the urethane coatings on fabric foliage withstand outdoor exposure as well. Choose heavy concrete or glazed stoneware planters that are impervious to freezing weather and will not deteriorate outdoors.

Artificial florals are not intended for outdoor use. Fabric flowers are made from a variety of materials, molded, dyed, and finished by hand and cannot usually be exposed to the elements. Just as you would not expose indoor furniture outdoors, the same holds true for your DDI floral and greenery arrangements. All fabrics eventually fade in direct UVA sunlight, but florals may be used in a completely covered area with indirect sunlight if not exposed to rain.

Do you do custom floral designs?
Yes. Call Customer Service at 1-800-243-4787 ext 104 for custom design requirements. All custom design orders require full payment before being entered in production.

Can I sell DDI designs on my website?
DDI does not authorize the selling of our products via third-party websites without prior written permission. For authorized websites, only specific DDI products are authorized for resale online, and complete item detail and product images are updated frequently. Images used on your website must be supplied by DDI. Items cannot be advertised for sale online below a keystone MAP markup. Contact Us to become an authorized reseller.
